R. E. Robertson

R. E. Robertson (born 1885, date of death ?) was a American politician, a Republican from Alaska.
Born in Iowa, Robertson served as a Mayor of Juneau from 1920 to 1923 and as a delegate to the Alaska Constitutional Convention (1955-1956).
He tried to became one of two first Alaska Senators in 1958 and was nominated by the Republicans, but lost in a massive landslide to Democrat Bob Bartlett, winning just 15.0% against Bartlett's 83.8.
