Rødvatn is a Norwegian lake located in Ballangen municipality in Nordland. The Rødvatn lake is at elevation 472 m above sea level and it is part of the river system draining the lakes: Rødvatn, Sennvatn, Skårvatn, Hjertvatn, Melkevatn, Djupvatn, Grunnvatn, Børsvatn and Forsåvatn. The Rødvatn lake supports a population of Arctic charr. It is sometimes possible to do ice fishing at this lake as late as June. Rødvatn is located on Norwegian state property and therefore fishing at this site is open to the public.
