Röthbachfall
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Röthbachfall, or Röthbach Waterfall, is the tallest waterfall in Germany with a vertical drop of 470 meters (1540 ft). The falls are located in the Berchtesgaden area on the Obersee (Berchtesgaden National Park) lake. The most convenient way to approach the waterfall is by electric boat across lake Konigssee to Salet and then to hike on to Obersee. This remote location has led to the erroneous belief that the tallest waterfall in Germany is The Triberg Waterfalls.
