Rómulo Díaz de la Vega (May 23, 1800, Mexico City—October 3, 1877, Puebla, Puebla) was interim president of Mexico in 1855. He studied military science and rose to the rank of general.
When General Carrera left the presidency of the Republic, Rómulo Díaz de la Vega was designated temporary President by the leaders of the military garrison. His government lasted 22 days, from September 12 to October 3, 1855.
After his presidency, Díaz de la Vega was member of the group of the conservatives who imposed Maximilian as emperor in 1863. He died in Puebla in October 1877.
