[edit] Wikiproject France Assessment

WikiProject France Assessment

This article was listed on WikiProject France under articles needing assessment. This article has been rated start-class because:

  • This is a great start and there are some references, which is good. I feel like some of the subsections could be expanded. Also, it would be interesting to see the notability/interest of this railway explained.
  • There is a useful image.

[edit] To do

Add section on Wars, and how lines were affected in the two world wars. Expand stations, add picture of each major station, add pictures of trains on the line. Expand freight section to cover other freight carried. Add section on the line today, uses of trackbed, photos showing any visible remains.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Mjroots (talkcontribs) 09:17, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Closure date?

I have seen at least two references to the line closing in 1965. Do the 1947 and 1951 dates refer to the last dates the line was used, with 1965 being an official closure date, or is the 1965 date when the lines were actually lifted, having been left in situ since closure? Answer found! The line saw occasional use until 1965. The sources were correct! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mjroots (talkcontribs) 13:07, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
