[edit] Þokka?
I'd be interested to know more about this word þokka as a collective for rå in Norse folklore. The word is obviously Icelandic or Old Norse, but I haven't seen this meaning of the word before. There is the Icelandic verb að þokka that means "to think of" or "to like" and the noun þokkagyðjur (plural) that means "Charites" or "Graces" in Greek mythology, but I haven't found anything that says it could be used for the rån of Norse folklore, so I'd be glad to know more about this use of the word. / Achird (talk) 09:01, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
