Rádio CBN

Rádio CBN is a Brazillian news radio, property of Sistema Globo de Rádio. CBN means Central Brasileira de Notícias (Brazillian News' Central). It was created in October 1 1991 as a all-news project (in other words, with news' transmission 24 hours per day). Nowadays, the Radio CBN has got five own broadcasting stations in the cities of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Brasília and Curitiba. It has 24 branch stores over the country too.

Since its creation, the "CBN's" slogan is "A Rádio que Toca Notícia" (The Radio that Plays News).

It's anchor journalists are Sidney Rezende, Carlos Alberto Sardenberg, Heródoto Barbeiro, Milton Jung e Adalberto Piotto. The company employs more than 200 other journalists.
