Oz, Err... Misteak was deliberate and not one, however spelled. The context explains why. Should I change it back? ww 19:09, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)
[edit] "Big-endian" Fibonacci coding?
Again, can you actually provide some reference that the system you describe as "big-endian" Fibonacci coding has actually seen use? Big-endian and little-endian byte-orderings came about because they were both equally good ways to handle the same situation. "Big-endian" Fibonacci coding seems markedly inferior to little-endian Fibonacci coding, since little-endian can handle the value 1 and big-endian cannot (how do you remove the leading "10" from "1"?) -- Antaeus Feldspar 00:00, 19 Feb 2005 (UTC)
[edit] nbsp
Hello. Your edit of recurring decimal prompts this comment.
"x + y = 7" sits on one line, but if I hadn't set it very close to the beginning of this sentence, there's the possibility of some reader's seeing it near the right edge of the browser window, and then "x" could appear on one line and "+ y = 7" on the next. The nbsp character prevents that. Do you object to that? Michael Hardy 23:52, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)
