[edit] Darren Hayes and User:Jenny Wong

Hi Qwerty. The main reasons why I removed that para were that I felt his sexuality had already been discussed elsewhere in the article, and the tone wasn't really what you'd expect in an encyclopedic article. And yes, you're quite right - I'm a Brit of Chinese descent. All the best, Jenny Wong 18:19, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Inappropriate usernames

Hello! I notice that you have welcomed a user with an inappropriate username. It looks like you are a new editor, so you probably don't know this, but users who create 'xxxx@wikipedia.org' are misrepresenting themselves as part of the administration at Wikipedia. If you see someone doing this again, please report them at WP:AIV and let an admin deal with this. Regards,  (aeropagitica)  (talk)  20:29, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

  • I see. Thanks for the tip, aeropagitica. So instead of welcoming them I shall report them as they are confusing, misleading, and/or troublesome usernames. Thanks for the great tip. Earnestly, Qwerty Binary. --Qwerty 08:07, 23 July 2006 (UTC) Yes, I am a newer editor, but not totally new.

[edit] Vote!

How about a vote for Keep at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of iconic smokers?--Josh 17:31, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Life of Brian

Sorry, I'm leaving it alone. Dan D. Ric 13:01, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

We were both reverting at the same time. Your revert went through before mine and mine reverted yours to the bad version. I tried to undo it but you were reverting again and the same thing happened. I'm out of it, you revert it to the correct version. Dan D. Ric 13:04, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandal Warnings

From Wikipedia:Recent changes patrol:

Warn the editor
In the cases of deliberate vandalism or an evident lack of knowledge on Wikipedia procedure, offending editors should be warned on their talk pages. While this is an optional step, it should be a regular part of a patroller's duties, as it minimizes conflict, educates new editors and alerts admins of repeat offenders. For efficiency and consistency, standard warning templates can be found here.

You can't report them here:Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism until theyv'e been warned to level three. Dan D. Ric 13:14, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hi, about my edit to Christmas in the media

I moved a huge list to a new article titled List of Christmas Specials. You reverted my edit using popups. I'm going to revert your edit. Just wanted to let you know, thanks. --ĶĩřβȳŤįɱéØ 02:52, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

Ok, cool. It's just that Belcantobach has made a lot of numerous major edits to the article, and he has marked them all as minor. I'm not entirely sure what his plans are, so I left a message on his talk page reminding him to discuss major changes on the talk page. Thanks for you help in sorting out this misunderstanding. --ĶĩřβȳŤįɱéØ 03:01, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
