Quljeedo

Quljeed is a small town west of Borama City, Somalia-the capital of the Awdal region. Quljeed is the home town of the 3rd president of the self declared Republic of Somaliland, H.E.Dahir Riyale KAAHIN. Quljeed is situated on the Somali-Ethiopian border, and the inhabitants of both sides of the border are almost exclusively of the reer DUDUB, a sub-clan of Jibril Yonis Clan, a Samaron Tribe Clan - known as 'The Warriors' for their bravery in wars. In and around Quljeed are inhabited by agro-pastoralists: that is farmers who also own herds of cattle, goats, sheep, and camels.
