[edit] Tax liens and tax deeds
Thank you for adding the references regarding Larry Loftis. I have edited your reference and formatted it accordingly to Wikipedia's standards. I have also added a second book, the newest published one on the subject. --Jbanning22 14:27, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Request for edit summary
Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 0% for major edits and 0% for minor edits. (Based on the last 150 major and 0 minor edits in the article namespace.)
This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear impolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 15:30, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pronunciation of Quitaque
Quitaque is pronounced kitta-kway (if you're from Southern Texas) or kitty-kway (if you're from the region) not kit-a-kew.

The pronunciation I used came from the Texas Travel Guide. Quidam65 13:00, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
Perhaps the Chamber of Commerce would be a better source. I have family from that area. They don't pronounce it kit-a-kew.

[edit] Jargon of the Rush Limbaugh show--Atlanta Urinal Constipation
Are you sure that Rush invented or popularized "Atlanta Urinal Constipation"? He doesn't use it much (and doesn't have much occasion to use it). I know that Atlanta-based Neal Boortz uses it. It would make sense that whoever invented it, Boortz popularized it. Pan Dan 14:34, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
He's used it several times when I've listened to him. Boortz may have invented it, but as the topic heading states, not all the jargon is Rush-invented. Quidam65 14:42, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
But it's questionable that Rush popularized it. If Rush uses a term that he neither invented nor popularized, then I would think that term doesn't really belong on the page. Pan Dan 14:54, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Northwest ISD
Hello. Thanks for your attention to the Northwest school district article. I thought I'd explain the reverts I made: Justin, Roanoke, Corral City, Marshall Creek and Northlake are in Denton County, not Tarrant County. Trophy Club straddles the border, but most of it is in Denton County, so that's why I kept it listed under Denton. The Tarrant County website has a good map showing which cities it includes: http://www.tarrantcounty.com/egov/cwp/view.asp?a=703&q=425071 Thanks, Dmp348 21:47, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please use edit summaries
Hello. Please be courteous to other editors and use edit summaries when updating articles. The Mathbot tool shows your usage of edit summaries to be extremely low:
- Edit summary usage for Quidam65: 3% for major edits and 29% for minor edits. Based on the last 150 major and 35 minor edits in the article namespace.
Using edit summaries helps other editors quickly understand your edits, which is especially useful when you make changes to articles that are on others' watchlists. Thanks and happy editing! --Kralizec! (talk) 13:35, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Little Girl
I know you wrote the article a while back now, but I just want to compliment you on the good job you did on The Little Girl. I made a couple corrections to the article (the song came out in 2000, not 2002 - it was off his Brand New Me collection), and I added an infobox as well. And heck, I don't even like the song -- I think it tries way too hard to make its point -- but in general you did a very good job. Keep up the good work! TenPoundHammer 13:36, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Mobile, Alabama
Hi Quidam65, we are happy to have you work with us on the Mobile, Alabama article. I just saw your changes and think something must have gone wrong. The end result was the removal of some major schools in the area. I reverted back to the original. If I am wrong about your intents, please post to the talk page there and we'll hash it out. Thanks! [edit] Rush Limbaugh Show and WBAP
Just to let you know I removed your comment regarding the show being aired on tape delay because the program is now carried live. Checkmate911 18:09, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks and kudos
Thanks for the talk page note. I competed in Number Sense all through school, so seeing that article made me happy. I've noticed you making some great additions and edits on some of the Texas education pages on my watch list...and just wanted to let you know that someone noticed you making great edits. :) --Hebisddave (talk) 15:34, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
Sorry about that rollback on WRTR; reverted it almost instantly. Tanthalas39 (talk) 16:39, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes
Just saw your edit to the Teamsters Union article from 9 September 2007. This organization preserved the historic spelling of its official name when it became a Division of the Teamsters Union. Please refrain from trying to "correct" the spelling. Reference: http://bmwe.org/
Thank you.
[edit] Gospel Bill show edit
Concerning this edit here, I was wondering where you happened to see her, because as a fan of the show; the only time I saw her (at least where I'd have noticed) was when she did the "It's God" video for them.
Then again, usually the only shows that are usually shown are from about 1986-1990 or so; so she may have been in an earlier or later one. Just curious. WAVY 10 Fan (talk) 17:04, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
