The reason I joined as a user was because I used to read a lot of articles. Most of the time it was for no reason at all, I just read, and read. Then I read the linked pages. There's no pattern to my reading. Sometimes I pick out headlines on WikiNews and decide I'll read them. Sometimes I'll come across something I don't understand somewhere else and I'll read it up on Wikipedia. And then I would come across some annoying stupid mistake, and it would haunt me for the rest of the night if I didn't do anything about it.

I have a couple of friends that have fantastic user pages on Wikipedia. Or fantastic compared to mine anyway. They are Shokwaav and Arthur. I did not have a user page until I read theirs and decided it would feel great to have something like that to call my own. Before I created this page, I mostly just cruised along random articles and made minor edits.
