Quinta Do Lago

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quinta Do Lago is a tourism geared golf resort twenty minutes west of Faro Airport in Portugal's Algarve region. The resort is especially popular with well-off British and Irish holiday makers and indeed these two groups own the majority of the property. The area contains two Four Seasons Resorts; Four Seasons Country Club, Which has a total of 95 villas with a large communial pool area creating a community feel. And; Four Seasons Fairways where each villa has its own pool and is more of a private holiday. ( Please note that these resorts are not connected to the Canadian Four Seasons Hotels).

The two local shopping centres Quinta Shopping and Bougainvila Plaza aim themselves at the well-off holiday makers situated near-by. Especially Quinta Shopping which contains many high end shops and restaurants. The resort is enjoying a resurgence as of late as the elite of Ireland choose it as an exclusive yet near holiday destination.
