Welcome! (We can't say that loudly enough!)

Hello Quek157 and Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you decide that you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. You may also push the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. Below are some recommended guidelines to facilitate your involvement. [edit] Peoples Park Centre

A tag has been placed on Peoples Park Centre, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kannie | talk 15:25, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

While this shop may be very sentimental to you, it may not pass wikipedia's notability standards. Kannie | talk 15:35, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
If you can't reference an article, don't create one in the first place. Was it in any national media? That would make it notable, and you can references the print media. Kannie | talk 15:42, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Edit Summaries

It would help if you would start including edit summaries with your contributions. Thanks, Rjd0060 (talk) 14:50, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your VandalProof Application

Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Quek157. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. βcommand 16:54, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
