Having lived in Quetta for a year and a half, i can safely say that it is not the tourists' paradise as described in the article. Most of the city is shabby and dirty and too be frank there are very few obvious attractions to the outsider. On the other hand, it does contain a fascinating mix of cultures and the climate is generally quite good (for Pakistan). Hannah Lake is not he turqoise green play ground described in the article - it has been dried up for quite a few years now sadly
