[edit] USS Constitution was not built of white oak, but Southern Live Oak
I was surprised to find the reference to the USS Constitution under the White Oak page. I have seen several other references to it being built out of Southern Live Oak (including Wikipedia). We recently visited the Constitution in Boston, then a couple of days ago were at the Gulf Coast National Seashore Visitors center in Navarre, which is also where the Naval Live Oaks Area is. Everything there says the Constitution was built from Live Oak. The National Park Service handout I picked up lists this as National Live Oaks Area (emphasis added). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.157.203.93 (talk) 16:35, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
