[edit] nigga
An oft-cited example is a scene in Pulp Fiction in which a character named Jimmie Dimmick, portrayed by Tarantino himself, rebukes Samuel L. Jackson's character, Jules Winnfield, for using his house as "dead nigger storage", followed by a rant that uses the word profusely
does he really say it that much?
[edit] Faster, Pussycat remake
The source for this claim, theregister.co.uk, comes from a blog, that also claims that Tarantino wants to cast Britney Spears in the film. Not credible at all. (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 00:55, 11 March 2008 (UTC))
[edit] Should we Remove the Casting Section?
Hi, I think we should Remove the Casting section, specifically, the table with the actors. I don't think it adds anything on Tarantino or his work at all and could be reduced to a paragraph mentioning his tendency to work with the same actors from time to time. Specially, what is Sin City doing in the table?, that was directed by Rodriguez. The scene directed by Tarantino featured only Benicio del Toro and Clive Owen. Toughts, votes? - I would vote against removing it, as I think it does say something about Tarantino as a director. This is becoming a more prevalent trend in Hollywood, and to some degree it is a trademark. Essentially I think the table is an easily accesible format for this information, and there is no other place to put it. If shortening the page is the issue, I think there are other areas that could be trimmed, such as some of the detail given to the other trademarks. I don't think this level of detail is that important. I do however agree on removing Sin City from the table, as you make a good point. Gelbza (talk) 21:41, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Hi, here I go again... against the casting section. Rosario Dawson and Vanessa Ferlito are not an example of repeated casting since they have appeared only in one Tarantino movie. I think (at least) they should be removed; and True Romance wasn't directed by Tarantino, he just wrote it, and I know, he didn't direct From Dusk Till Dawn either but I can figure he had a bigger role in the production of FDTD. Toughts, should we remove those?Vicco Lizcano (talk) 17:10, 29 April 2008 (UTC) (Hey! Listen!)
