[edit] Move

It looks like the parenthesis are not used for this station (compare to [1]). Recommend a move to Queenstown Road Battersea railway station as it follows the style of Queens Road Peckham railway station [2]. MRSC 08:26, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

However, when looking up station information, it also includes the brackets. Se this particular one, also from National Rail. The same reasoning also applies to Southampton Airport (Parkway) railway station. Simply south 11:13, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Which is the more widespread, and clearer use? MRSC 11:19, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Not sure. General search seems 50/50. Simply south 11:22, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
What do the signs at the station have on them? Morwen - Talk 11:23, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Just Queenstown Road. Nevertheless, see St Albans City railway station. Simply south 11:32, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
I'd prefer to see the removal of parenthesis within station names unless they are universally included; which is fine as we would be reflecting common usage. Outside of this it feels like we are adding something extra for no reason. MRSC 11:37, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
I am only going by National Rail and the station Rail reg. If the commen name is without the brackets (although i thougfht both were just as common) then go ahead. Simply south 11:41, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
