[edit] Assess
I have put some minor comments below. I think this is mid as the school is intended to be for the whole of the state. It would be useful to have a clear ref for this claim. If some stuff on the educational theory that gave rise to this school then that would be useful too. Who made this investment and why? You have some refs... if you can add further refs and extend the number of topics then a B is possible. Some pictures would brighten up the article Victuallers 20:28, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] regarding {{advert}}
Sounds a little too glowing... 'encouraging our best and brightest', etc. Would fix it myself but am busy, just came across it and added the tag. — riana_dzasta wreak havoc|damage report 07:46, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

- and "has told students that the claims are ignorant" ... he may have said that 1. Reference? 2. Surele people can be ignorant... claims cannot be? Victuallers 20:13, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- "This course challenges students to think outside the box" ... really .. says who? Maybe This course claims to ...
- You can take some subjects at two levels ... you have to say more (or less!) as I don't know what these two levels mean.
- Thanks for this feedback. I've addressed points 1 and 2, but I don't see where the problem with #3 is. Also, I'd like to know what would need to be done to get this article to B level? Specifically? ~ G1ggy! ...chatterbox... 04:28, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Merging with Creative Industries
I think we should merge Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology with Queensland Academy for Creative Industries and Queensland Academy for Health Sciences. Or else the articles will all look exactly the same and will just be tedious. Am I right, folks? Jaylaw 04:26, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- Do the other articles exist yet? I don't think they do. [1] Once they are all created, a generic Queensland Academies article may be in order. Giggy Talk | Review 04:32, 8 August 2007 (UTC)h

- Yeah, Once someone writes the articles that would be fine. DannyCyclone. 14:28, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

- Hmmmm, I really don't think that merging would be the right ideas. While all come under the same name, all have different goals and values. It could go either way. I'm hoping that we can get more published information from the Academies. Devil.of.firewalls (talk) 01:59, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

- No. See WP:V (everything was unsourced), and also WP:NPOV. This isn't encyclopedic material. dihydrogen monoxide (H20) 07:49, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

- Sorry H2O. Won't happen again. Devil.of.firewalls (talk) 01:56, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- No worries, thanks for your help. In answer to the stuff below, I've removed the stub tag, and, as the newsletter isn't published online, I don't think we should use it as a source. Plus there's the student privacy issues that I'd feel really, really bad about violating. Cheers, dihydrogen monoxide (H20) 08:34, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Still a Stub?
- What do you guys think, this article still a stub? Devil.of.firewalls (talk) 01:56, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Newsletter.
If there is valuable information in a QASMT newsletter, would it be appropriate to use information published in them on Wikipedia?
