[edit] Problems

Are we allowed to highlight a NHS facility's know problems, MRSA rates, etc? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.34.37.173 (talk • contribs) 14:08, 10 February 2007.

Yes, but there needs to be citations from reliable sources. MRSCTalk 12:34, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

This hospital is supposed to be "fit for the future". But there is no internet connection at the hospital. How can it meet the needs of the future if it cannot meet the needs of the present? anilinlondon at yahoo dot com

[edit] "We have other patients to look after"

I have been visiting my wife in the hospital now for more than 8 weeks. I have been there for approx 8 to 12 hours a day. -- "We have XX(so many) other patients" is the most common statement for avoiding work. This is the most common comment I have received during my long term visits. It can take up to 8 hours (no joke) for Grade A staff to reach the bedside. I feel honoured if it takes less than 2 hours.

The sister claimed ths does not happen.. Unfortunately it does.

The night staff are especially lazy. They will do anything to avoid changing a nappy. Most of the other comments are "it will be done,.. we are doing it" When lives are at stake, the question is:- "before or after the funeral?" -- We really need a queuing system which is transparant to the patient. Why is it taking the staff so long to reach the patient? What are the staff doing? Are they simply avoiding work, or are they really busy with "other priorities"? How can we tell?

How about an electronic ticket system? Who is next in the queue? 82.7.217.7 14:27, 25 May 2007 (UTC) anilinlondon at yahoo dot com

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/itn/20070618/tuk-nhs-trusts-struggle-with-hygiene-dba1618.html NHS trusts 'struggle with hygiene' One in four NHS trusts are failing to hit hygiene standards that were put in place to combat superbugs, according to a report.

Despite a Government drive to get the message across, fewer trusts than last year can show they maintain standards on cleanliness and hygiene. How does Queens compare?
