Talk:Quebec Court of Appeal
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I wonder if the correct title is really "Court of Appeal of Quebec" and not "Quebec Court of Appeal". The official website uses both titles and Supreme Court cases has used both as well but more often than not it uses Quebec Court of Appeal. At the very least QCA is more consistant with the names of other court of appeals in other provinces. --PullUpYourSocks 18:46, 23 May 2005 (UTC)
The Code of Civil Procedure simply refers to it as the "Court of Appeal".Court of Appeal of Quebec is a more direct translation of Cour d'appel du Québec, but "Quebec Court of Appeal" and "Court of Appeal of Quebec" are equally correct, officially and gramatically.
