Quentin Kirrin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Quentin Kirrin (more commonly known as Uncle Quentin) is a fictional character created by Enid Blyton, who appears in several of the Famous Five series of children's stories. He is the father of Georgina, and uncle of Julian, Anne and Dick Kirrin. Uncle Quentin is a famous inventor and is usually quite involved in his scientific experiments.
Uncle Quentin lives at Kirrin Cottage. He is a natural genius who spends a lot of time at his studies, and who doesn't like anyone—including the Five—to disrupt him while he is working. Although he has a very hot temper and is not very tolerant, Uncle Quentin is good-natured at heart. Like his daughter, Georgina, he tends to be absent-minded and will often forget what day it is, whether it is night or morning, and the names of the Five.
