Queensland Transport is the state government department for transport in Queensland.

The current Minister for Transport, Trade, Employment and Industrial Relations is the Hon John Mikel MP. Mr Mikel accepted this portfolio on September 13th 2007, succeeding previous Minister, Hon Paul Lucas.

The Director-General for Queensland Transport is Mr Bruce Wilson. Currently the longest serving Director-General in the Queensland Government having filled his position for over 12 years.Mr Wilson will resign from the Department in Mid 2008 however his successor has yet to be appointed.
