The Queensland Institute of Business and Technology (QIBT)[1] is a higher education institution delivering programs as a registered Higher Education Provider approved by the Australian Government’s Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations. QIBT is registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS Provider Code 07137F) as required by the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000.

QIBT is located on Griffith University's Mt Gravatt campus, just fifteen minutes from Brisbane's central business district. The Mt Gravatt campus connects with Brisbane city through the extensive Busway network and M3 motorway.

Over 1,600 students are currently enrolled at QIBT. International students make-up 85% of the student population whilst Australian students make up the remaining 15%.

QIBT provides university level Diploma programs in the areas of Biosciences, Commerce, Criminology & Criminal Justice, Engineering, Graphic Design, Hotel Management and Information Technology.

QIBT also delivers Griffith University’s Mixed English and Academic Program, university Foundation program (Certificate IV) and Postgraduate Qualifying Program. These programs are offered in partnership with Griffith University, and are recognised by many other well known universities throughout Australia for the purpose of entry with advanced standing.

At QIBT, we understand that the transition to university level study can be difficult for some students. A range of support services are made available to students during their studies at QIBT. The Welfare Advisor and Academic Advisor are readily available to handle enquiries of both an academic or personal nature including accommodation, airport pick-up, health, cultural support services, student mentoring program, student welfare, disability support, organised student activities, learning support, employment services and services specific to students who are under the age of 18.

QIBT is located on Griffith University's Mt Gravatt campus, high atop Mt Gravatt amidst native Australian bushland. QIBT students have full access to all of the university facilities and services including libraries, computer laboratories, sporting facilities, on-campus accommodation and employment services.
