Queen Mary Falls are found in Main Range National Park on the Great Dividing Range near the New South Wales/Queensland border.
The 40 m waterfall is located 50 km south-east of Warwick, 10 km east of the town of Killarney in Queensland, Australia. Queen Mary Falls are on Spring Creek, a tributary of the Condamine River.
The falls formed when water erosion by streams created gorges through layers of basalt and resistant trachyte.[1]
The falls are currently retreating as large blocks at the bottom of the falls were not evident in photos taken in the 19th century.[2]
Facilities at the falls include toilets, tables and fireplaces.
