This category provided a list of current and past Members of the Legislative Assembly (Parliament) of the State of Queensland, Australia. It also lists Queensland State Senators prior to the dissolution of the upper house. Prior to October 2000, Members were styled as MLAs, since that time they have been MPs.
Queensland has a unique unicameral (single house) Parliament. The legislature consists of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. The 89 Members of the Legislative Assembly (MP) are each elected from an electoral districtc that returns a single representative. These elections are held at such time as the Governor in Council decides, at an interval of not more than (approximately) three years.
