Qudrat-Ullah Shahab (1919-1986) was an Indian civil servant, who migrated to Pakistan after partition of the sub-continent. He was chosen by the Governor-General Ghulam Muhammad to be his Personal Secretary, and then he worked in the same capacity under Iskander Mirza and Ayub Khan. He published his first hand information about the events related to the early days of the history of Pakistan in his widely read memoirs (in Pakistan) Shahabnama [1].

His memoirs are based on his diary which he maintained from 1938 or so till the time of his death in 1986.
