Hello Quatrocentu, I originated that article and I just wanted to thank you for fixing the birth date. Tony the Marine 05:53, September 10, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Eminescu, Goldfaden
Most of what we have in English about Yiddish theater (especially pre-1920) is my writing, including pretty much anything that cites Israil Bercovici. I managed to borrow his book on Yiddish theater in Romania for 3 weeks through inter-library loan (there are apparently only 3 copies in libraries in North America, I got lucky); it was a great source for the early years of Yiddish theater. -- Jmabel | Talk 06:47, 18 September 2005 (UTC)
No, the Theodor Gaster article isn't mine. In case you don't know, you can click the "History" tab on any article and work out who the contributors are. -- Jmabel | Talk 07:24, 18 September 2005 (UTC)
Let me urge you to continue to edit Mihai Eminescu, which I am watching to learn something about the subject. I am reluctant to simply cut-and-paste your comments from the talk page, because doing so can distort meaning unintentionally - I've had this happen to me on subjects I do know something about. All your comments do belong in the article (I've put in the translation of De-aş avea); if you explain something on the talk page, there is a primâ facie case it should be in the article, because other readers will want to know it too.

You will notice that Speranţa Rădulescu is exactly who I cited as a reference for what I wrote in the article. -- Jmabel | Talk 17:24, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Costache Negruzzi
Hello, you have probably found out already the answers to the two questions you have posted on the Costache Negruzzi discussion page more than two months ago. If that is not the case, you may find my answers there. All the best, Quatrocentu 09:49, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
