[edit] N'importe quel ami de Georges Brassens, c'est mon ami
I see you're working on a translation of a French article about Brassens. I'd be happy to look it over at any point and help remove the academic tone such a translation can have in its early drafts. I read, write, and speak French just well enough to get out of trouble, though not always fast enough to avoid getting into it. And I don't do badly in English. — OtherDave 17:36, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Dear Quaere I know this is random but I thought it was worth a shot: PLEASE please please could you explain to me how to translate stuff from English to French, (or French to English) I'm new to all this and I've just spent way too many hours in my retarded IT stupor trying to figure it out. It's confusing because the stuff under 'translations in progress' will say for example 40% but you can't click on 'join this translation'. But I see you've done some... And do you know whether you can request pages on Wikibooks to be translated? (and do them yourself)? Hope you answer, it would reaaaaally be the nicest thing you could possibly do...! Take care,:) Trish xxx
