[edit] Preston Wilson/Mookie Wilson

I wrote down what I believe regarding Mookie and Preston's relationship at Talk:Preston Wilson; please take a look. --Nlu 04:11, 18 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Please don't mangle dates

I know your edits on Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District were well-intentioned, but you ended up mangling dates (and even changed one to some point in the future). Please see Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers) for more details. Basically, what you did was you took two or more full dates (year, month, and day) that happened to be together and removed the year from all but the last. This breaks date formatting preferences. --Cyde Weys votetalk 02:17, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] re User: 65.25.105.176

This is yet another form of a several times blocked editor who regularly pops to add more racist/xenophobic edits to various articles. Anyway, fortunately, this Ip address has already been blocked by an administrator. When it comes to dealing with vandals, the correct course of action is first to give them a full set of warnings (1-4, see WP:VANDAL, although in clear cases of bad faith editing , you can go straight to 2, although try to Assume good faith where possible, and in some very clear cases, such as personal attacks etc, you can go straight to a level 4 warning. If they continue to vandalise go to WP:AIV where you can report them, and an administrator will review the situation, and issue blocks of varying lengths, if they think its needed. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I hope you enjoy editing wikipedia, just remember not to let vandals get to you.--Jac16888 (talk) 02:02, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

No problem, glad to do it. Happy Editing--Jac16888 (talk) 02:15, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Oh, and i forgot to add that if you have any other problems/queries/general wonderings feel free to message me about it, and i'll see what i can do.--Jac16888 (talk) 03:11, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] CompUSA Section Edits...

First, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to do some editing on the CompUSA article. Your edits were constructive, well-placed, and served to improve the existing section overall. Now, you MIGHT be a bit taken aback at this, but the section that you spent time on is currently under review for summarizing and shortening considerably. I don't want you to feel like your time was wasted there, so if you could do me a big favor, take a look at Talk:CompUSA, section 24 "Previous closings section, macro-edit", and weigh in with your thoughts on the subject, it would go a LONG way on the teamwork end of the endeavour. I'm asking you specifically, since you've made the time investment on it... Edit Centric (talk) 23:43, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Adam Schlensinger

Good work on the Adam Schlensinger page! Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by Boffy (talkcontribs) 13:44, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Quotation marks

I was glad to see your improvement of the citations on Superdelegate. I reverted your punctuation changes, though. Wikipedia uses "logical" quotation style. According to Wikipedia:Manual of style#Quotation marks: "When a sentence fragment is quoted, the period is outside [the quotation marks]." JamesMLane t c 01:37, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Arkansas gubernatorial succession

Hello Quackslikeaduck, I'm here via the article David Paterson. I'm confused with Arkansas' history - When did Arkansas amend its Constitution to allow the Lieutenant Governor to fully succeed to the governorship. The earlier 'gubernatorial successors' were called 'Acting Governor', while Tucker and Huckabee were immediately called 'Governor' upon their successions. When was 'Acting' dropped? [edit] AfD nomination of Josiah Leming

An editor has nominated Josiah Leming, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Josiah Leming and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:59, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Fort_Stevens_Ridge_Map.pdf listed for deletion

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Fort_Stevens_Ridge_Map.pdf, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.
