One thing I find interesting is that King's Road curves up to pass by Cityplaza while the little section below in front of Kornhill Plaza is called Kornhill Road (and the eastbound tram goes along King's Rd and then Kornhill Rd and then King's Rd again). What is the history behind that? Did the tram follow King's Rd all the way back in the old days? Was the Kornhill Rd built when the Kornhill housing estate was built? Yes. Kornhill Road was formerly a hillside which the King's Road goes around. The tramway had followed the King's Road for decades until the Kornhill Road was built and opened in the late 1980s. — Instantnood 14:30, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Quarry Point

Was there any old maps available on the Internet showing the former coastline prior to any reclamation? Or else it's pretty hard to illustrate where the bay and the point were located. — Instantnood 14:30, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
