[edit] quake lake

After recent earthquake in China, the Quake Lake has been in news. It appears that "Quake Lake" is general term used for lakes created after an earthquake. However, this article only describes lake in southwestern Montana, United States. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.129.237.147 (talk) 04:18, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

"Quake lake" being used in this sense is probably colloquial, but I've linked this article to landslide dam, which explains the general phenomenon.--Pharos (talk) 02:08, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
