The Museum District (officially Quartier du Musée) is a neighbourhood located in the Ville Marie borough of the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The neighbourhood is centred on Sherbrooke Street located in a part of downtown west of the Golden Square Mile and south of Mount Royal. The neighbourhood is well known for its museums such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, its high end stores such as Holt Renfrew, its jewellers, its decorating stores and its restaurants.
