Quarentinha

Waldir Cardoso Lebrêgo, best known as Quarentinha (born in Belém, Pará State, September 15, 1933 – dead in Rio de Janeiro, February 11, 1996) was a Brazilian football (soccer) player in striker role.

In career he played for Paysandu (1950-1952), Vitória Bahia (1953 and 1964-65), Botafogo (1954-1964), Bonsucesso (1956), and from 1965 to 1968 close his career in Colombia with América de Cali, Unión Magdalena Santa Marta, Club Deportivo Cali and Atlético Júnior Barranquilla.

He won four Bahia State League (1953, 1957, 1964, 1965), three Rio de Janeiro State League (1957, 1961, 1962), two Rio - São Paulo Cup (1962, 1964), one Mexico Tournament (1962) and one Paris Tournament (1963). He was also top goalscorers for three consecutive years in Rio Leagues (1958, 1959, 1960).

For Brazil national football team he got 11 international caps from 1960 to 1963, scored 11 goals. In May 12, 1963 he was in squad at San Siro Stadium, in match with Italy, Pelé's only game played in Italy. He never played in FIFA World Cup and died at 62 years old.
