Quakers Hill is a station on the CityRail Richmond line, and serves a residential community. The tracks through the station were electrified in 1975. Quakers Hill is the current northern extent of duplication on the Richmond line, although there are plans to extend this north to Vineyard. Two sets of points at the southern end of the station allow trains to terminate on either platform. Until the line from Marayong was duplicated to Quakers Hill, the station had a crossing loop. Several bus services provide connection services to extend the service area. Access from the elevated concourse to the island platform is via two extended flights of stairs so this station does not provide easy access. The track between Schofields and Quakers Hill will be duplicated by the Clearways Project.

The station is served by approximately two trains per hour, and is the terminating point of additional peak hour weekday services. Quakers Hill is also the terminus of one Cumberland Line train from Campbelltown each weekday morning.

Western Line - all stations and limited stops services to Blacktown and Central; then to Lindfield, Gordon, Hornsby or Berowra via the North Shore Line.
