Quadopoly

A quadopoly is a form of oligopoly in which there are four producers that dominate any given market. The four producers control the majority of that specific field, there can be other competing companies but they play a small and relatively minor role in the control of that specific market.
Examples:
General Motors, Ford, Toyota, and Honda in the automobile industry.
Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile in the cellular phone industry.
Vivendi, Sony, Warner Music Group, and EMI in the recorded music industry.
McDonald's, Yum!, Wendy's, and Burger King in the fast food industry.
