This image was uploaded in the JPEG format even though it consists of non-photographic data. The information it contains could be stored more efficiently or more accurately in the PNG format or SVG format.

The crest is the current one in use and should not be confused with Image:Qmul-logo.gif which displays the coat of arms of one of the colleges that merged to form Queen Mary, University of London.
