Qiao Zhou

Qiao Zhou (201 - 270) was a minister under the Kingdom of Shu during the Three Kingdoms Period of China. Qiao Zhou formerly servered under Liu Zhang. It is known that Qiao Zhou was indeed a very gifted astrologer that very often read the stars to guide Zhuge Liang's dispatch of troops, though this was known only in fiction. Qiao Zhou then on served in the court from the time that Liu Bei became the emperor to the fall of the Shu Kingdom. Qiao Zhou also assisted in convincing the inept Liu Shan to submit to the superior opposition of Deng Ai of the Kingdom of Wei.
