Description

Photograph of British QF 15 pounder Mk I field gun. This is an early British adaptation from the original Ehrhard design, with the original steel wheels replaced by standard British wooden wheels. The axle-tree seats have not yet been removed and shield has not yet been added, as became the standard British practice.
