This will most likely not be the longest fixed-link bridge, or only for a short time. Near Shanghai currently 2 bridges longer than 30km are being constructed. CyeZ 12:39, 2 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Longer than Lake Pontchatrain Causeway?

Currently the longest bridge in the world is about 5 minutes away from my house, the Lake Pontchatrain Causeway. Its 24 miles long. DOes this structure count as a single bridge?
