This is an Arabic word meaning "Heart". It is the second among the six purities or Lataif-e-sitta

To attend Tasfiya-e-Qalb, the Salik needs to achieve the following sixteen.
- Zuhd or Abstention from evil
- Taqwa or Avoiding what looks evil
- War'a
- Tawakkul or Being content on whatever God gives
- Sabr or Patience on whatever God does
- Shukr or Gratefulness to whatever God gives
- Raza or Seeking happiness of God
- Khauf or Fear of God's wrath
- Rija or Hope of God's blessing
- Yaqeen or Complete faith on God
- Ikhlas or Purity of intention
- Sidq or Bearing truth of God
- Maraqiba or Total focus on God
- Khulq or Humbleness for God
- Zikhr or Remembrance of God
- Khuloot or Isolation from everyone except God
