Qadariyah
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Qadariyah (or Qadariya), in Islam, are adherents of the doctrine of free will.
The word is derived from qadr (power, or rights), and was also applied to the Mu'tazilah. Adherents maintained that Allah had given man free will. Without it, one could not be fully accountable for ones actions. Free will also meant that Allah could not know a man's actions in advance.
