Is the burdah controversial ?

Where is the controversy? Can you provide any sources to back the claims of the text that you have added? I have removed the text from the article and place it below:
This poem is considered controversial by some, not because of the content, but because of divinity that some Muslims have associated with it. It implies that it is not sufficient to pray to Allah alone, but that by simply reciting this poem miracles can happen. This kind of thinking attributes divine power to the poem and distracts from the truth that at the end of the day power is with Allah. Some people people effectively worship the poem and that goes against the fundamental tenets of Islam.

The "so-called benefits" should be removed. There is no source for it.
