Q News

Q News was a British Muslim magazine published by Q-News Media Limited. It described itself as "Britain's leading Muslim magazine, providing independent analysis, critique and review of politics, culture and ideas."
The magazine was first published in 1991 as Muslim Wise but was renamed Q News in March 1992 by then-editor Fuad Nahdi. It was first published fortnightly in tabloid format before moving to the current monthly magazine format. The current editor of Q News is Fareena Alam; previous staff members have included Faisal Bodi and Shagufta Yaqub. Contributing editors include Abdul-Rehman Malik, Fozia Bora and Nabila Munawar. Q-News columnists include Hamza Yusuf, Habib Ali Al-Jifri, Nazim Baksh, Arzu Merali, Yahya Birt, Khalida Khan, Faraz Rabbani.
Q-News published four issues in 2006. Its last publication was September/October 2006.
