[edit] Tipit
Hi. Could you explain to me, please, what makes Tipit a notable S4C programme along the lines of Pobol y Cwm and Dechrau Canu, Dechrau Canmol? Thanks. Vashti 17:56, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] RE: Tipit
I don't know much about S4C, except for watching it whilst there on holiday!!! However, in the listed: "Pobol y Cwm," "Dechrau Canu, Dechrau Canmol" and of course "Tipit" - are three different programmes, a soap, a religious program and a game show respectively, meaning there is some notability in it being that it is one of the only game shows broadcast in Welsh. - Why have you answered this here? Are you User:Q4? Do you know Wikipedia has a strict policy against sockpuppetry, or having more than one account? I urge you to read it.
- I find it odd that you've answered this question, are one of two people who added the Tipit link to S4C, and despite you "not knowing much about S4C", you and Q4 are also the only two editors to have worked on the Tipit page here! Regardless of any of this, please respect that we've already discussed in some detail what makes a programme a notable S4C programme, and just appearing on the channel or being an example of a genre is not enough. The programmes that remain are ones with historical interest - that is, they have run for decades.
- You can see this discussion on the talk page at Talk:S4C; if you'd like to add to it, you're more than welcome to do so. I am also curious as to whether you have any connection with the programme, such as being on the production team; if so, issues of vanity come into play. Vashti 14:39, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
I apologise: I didn't realise! Richard n 20:10, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

- No problem at all; we were all new once, and Wiki policy can be a little arcane until you get used to it. :) Vashti 02:05, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
