Q-Con is a gaming convention organised annually by the Queen's University Belfast Dragonslayers Gaming Society. It is a not-for-profit event organised by the Dragonslayers Society to promote gaming in Belfast, Northern Ireland and beyond. It is one of the largest games conventions in Ireland, with over 650 people having attended Q-Con XIV in June 2007.
Q-Con is a multiformat convention, with events including role playing, LARPs, war games, board games, collectable card games, console games, PC LAN, arcade machines, anime screenings, cosplay, scifi & fantasy screenings, charity events and other special events. A highlight of Q-Con over the last two years has been Qnightmare, a full re-creation of the cult TV show Knightmare.
Q-Con XV is scheduled to take place on 27-29th June 2008, in the Queen's University Belfast Students' Union.
