Image:Wikipe-tan_visual_novel_(Ren'Py).png
Hi PyTom!
I've been looking at Image:Wikipe-tan_visual_novel_(Ren'Py).png with a few other editors, and we think it could stand to be slightly less self-referential. The image is great, but the text is... odd. Do you think you could be bothered to recreate it with different text? Thanks, --humblefool® 03:55, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- I replies to this on the Visual Novel talk page, I suggest we discuss it there. -- PyTom 04:08, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
I've made a specific suggestion on Talk:Visual novel; what do you think? By the way, thank you for creating a free image, even if I do think it is a bit self-referential. --SPUI (T - C) 07:10, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

Excellent image however you need to note which GFDL images you have used (link to them) as per GNU. :) --Cat out 17:41, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
- Updated here and on the commons. --PyTom 18:53, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
Weapon Lists
Those lists were in existence when those links were put up. I'm sure some hoplophobe deleted them, but they were there at one time. Mike Searson 23:24, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Ah, my bad...guess the note wasn't clear enough. Thanks! Mike Searson 03:55, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Changed your db tag on LQHS Debate Team
Hiya. Don't mean to be picky or whatever, but I changed your db tag from {{db-repeat}} to {{db-club}}, since db-repeat is not used for recreations of CSD-deleted material, but is instead used for recreations of AFD'd articles, for example. In the future, if articles qualify for WP:CSD, but haven't successfully been deleted as a result of an AfD discussion, simply use a tag other than db-repeat. Cheers, and keep up the great work =) --slakr 05:49, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- Fair enough. — PyTom 14:57, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Vandalism
"This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Ronald Reagan, you will be blocked from editing. — PyTom (talk) 14:05, 8 September 2007 (UTC)" Does that count the pages I corrected before Ronald Reagan that no one has fixed yet, or is it just the next article I correct that will get me banned?
RE: Account Access (from Jetstar888)
Thanks PyTom — it was actually ME, Jetstar888, that messed up my Userpage! Sorry to cause the confusion. I will re-edit it straight away. Once again, I apologise for the confusion.
Worldview website
Hey,
I just started looking at Wikipedia last night so I don't know much yet about what makes a page compliant. I know that the website is something that needs to be documented somehow in Wikipedia for it to historcally complete on the topic of poverty, because of its creative influence on the marketing departments of some of the major international childrens charities. If you can help me with that, you'll be a hero bro. It should actually be under the heading "Worldview" not "Worldview website" but I don't know how to do that without messing up the public radio station's listing that pops up when you search for "Worldview"
The site is now in the top ten sites listed on Google when you do a search for "Worldview" and should move into the top three when the revised site is launched. Here's a link to the new main page which is under construction until mid-July.
Awesome!
Haha, I love the Wikipe-tan visual novel graphic! You *are* the type of person who keeps the internet alive. ;-) Gzabers 06:04, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, didn't see your edit summary
Before I reverted you. I don't think that contributions to futurama really count as a voice acting career. His other stint was on SNL and that's not really acting. I would say contributions or appearances would be more suitable. What do you think? Turtlescrubber 19:04, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
- I see what you are saying about appearances but he does "appear" in the futurama episodes albeit as an animated character. My major concern is that this doesn't devolve into a trivia section where every southpark, simpsons, internet video, snl skit and mainstream reference is treated in the same fashion and with the same level of importance as a SNL appearance or voiceover. What do you think? Turtlescrubber 20:49, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
- I definitely agree that his daughters involvement should be included. However, I don't think South Park should be included because that opens the floodgates for everything else. To properly maintain a pop culture section such as this (which I have always been against) you need to draw the line somewhere. A while ago I chose to draw the line at productions that in someway involved Al Gore. I have used this on many other pages to reduce the size and scope of trivia sections. Allowing the South Park reference (a show that I like and I also like that episode) allows for everything that is remotely related to Al Gore. So, if you think we should include the South Park ref. then we need to think of a new way to draw the line. If not the section will expand, bloat and eventually be cut to a stub. It's the life cycle of a trivia section. I don't think I am making much sense anymore. Let me know. Turtlescrubber 03:17, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
