Pyrrolizidine

Pyrrolizidine[1] is a naturally occurring alkaloid, found in many of the plants in the Boraginaceae, Compositae, and Leguminosae families. Pyrrolizidine alkaloids are hepatotoxic, meaning they can damage the liver.
