Pyramid Rock, Cape Town

Pyramid Rock is a popular dive site in Cape Town, South Africa, known for known for the common occurrence of 6-gill or cow sharks in the sandy channels of the kelp forest environment.

Near Mouille Point, the site is accessed either by boat or surface swim. The area is known as part of the white shark patrol route, and is approximately 500m from the site of a fatal White Shark attack on a spear fisherman in 2005.
