Pymatuning Valley High School

Pymatuning Valley High School is a public high school in Andover, Ohio. It is the only high school in Ashtabula County to have received an "EXCELLENT" rating from the state and has a student enrollment of approximately 400 students. This academic program is supported by programs like AP English, Academic Decathlon, a very active FFA program, and a Multimedia Program through the Ashtabula County JVS, student council, class officers, class cabinet (for juniors and seniors), FCCLA, botany team, academic decathlon, academic challenge team, Ashtabula County YOUth LEADERship, and the Ashtabula County Mentorship Program.

The mascot of the Pymatuning Valley Local Schools district is "Lakers", a reference to the proximity of Pymatuning Lake. The Lakers athletic teams have enjoyed success, with many teams winning league championships in the 06-07 school year, and many individual athletes winning All-State honors. Some of the extracurricular opportunities including football, cross country, soccer (girls only), volleyball, basketball, wrestling, swimming, track, baseball, and softball.
